Jamboree day 1

Hello all,

Today was a very hectic day! We had to set up everything from tents to dining flies to our entire gateway (I will post pictures of this later). Very hot and humid here can't wait for the nights which should cool down, and then we have to wake up at 5:30 IN THE MORNING!The cots are very nice as are the stoves, meals, and all of the staff that are working here. I am going to go find everything tomorrow because it took us so long to get set up that I never got a chance to look around at the different part of Fort AP Hill that we are allowed to go to and where everything is. I did find a couple of the places where my friends are from Philmont so I have to go hook up with them tomorrow so we can talk about whats happened since we met last summer. Great place, looks like there might be a lot of walking involved because this place is bigger than most of the amusement parks and even some of the National Forests that I have been to. Well go to go to bed now so I can get up early to get our bugler up to play revelry. I should be able to put something up every night because I will have WIFI here , AT&T was nice enough to give free WIFI.
